Bounded by the city to the east, the Brisbane River to the south, Mt Coot-tha's bushland to the north and semi-rural outer suburbs to the west, the area is home to some of Brisbane's most desirable housing, the University of Queensland, two major shopping centres, excellent sporting facilities, fine schools, and the state's leading private hospital.
