How We Operate
The BWCC holds breakfast meetings on the first Wednesday of each month (February - November) with a Christmas function in December. At the breakfast meetings ($20.00 per member, $25.00 for non-members), members are encouraged to meet with other members and where possible, to support each other's enterprises. Members are also able to display promotional material. Guest speakers are invited to address the breakfast meetings on relevant topics.
Current venue for breakfast meetings is the Lakeside Restaurant at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. (Plenty of parking available.)
The Chamber's Committee meets monthly and the meetings are open to all members. Members are kept up to date with Chamber activity via e-mail and mail.
After-hours networking functions are held on a quarterly basis (March/June/September).
The Chamber is affiliated with Commerce Queensland (formerly QCCI). However, for BWCC members to gain access to guidance and information on industrial relations and other business related matters from Commerce Queensland, they must join that organisation as individual members.
By joining the Brisbane West Chamber of Commerce, you come into contact with like minded, progressive business operators who share your desire to be successful.
